Join printmaker and Illustrator Abbie Mooney for an introduction to the art of Japanese stab book binding.
In this introductory workshop, you will focus on the Japanese stab binding technique to create your very own selection of books in a small, supportive group.
Starting with a simple notebook and working through to a larger book featuring your own stitch design, this workshop is aimed at learning a new skill and making beautiful books that are perfect for gifting as sketchbooks or photo albums.
This workshop is ideal for beginners or those who have tried bookbinding before as you will be given the skills to make outcomes that are personal to you.
You will leave the workshop with helpful guides to make your own books at home, as well as three of your own handmade books. All materials and equipment included.
The ticket price also includes a complimentary hot drink and baked treat from Slow Rise Bakery.
