Join ceramicist Niamh Phillips to discover coloured clay and create your own unique mug.
Guided by Niamh Phillips who is a Leeds based ceramicist, specialising in porcelain ceramics, this is a perfect taster to coloured clay inlaying. You’ll be working with a slab of white clay which you will inlay with coloured clay patterns.
With the ability to alter and personalise patterns to your own style, once your colourful slab is created, you will cut out and assemble your mug. Finally you will add a handle to complete your design. Niamh will take the mugs to her studio in Mabgate to be fired and glazed.
They will be ready for you to pick up at Stocked 4 weeks after the workshop, so you can take them home and get the kettle on!
Your ticket also includes a complimentary hot drink and baked treat from Slow Rise Bakery.
