Come along to hone your calligraphy skills in time for the holidays with Sophie of Sophie Eloise Calligraphy.

Using a traditional nib and ink technique, this festive workshop is all about taking time out from the hustle and bustle of Christmas and learning a new skill to boot. Want that extra special touch to your cards or place settings? You’ll learn stroke techniques and letter formation and have a go at crafting your name, before moving on to create your very own creations to take home. 

All of Sophie’s workshops are suitable for beginners and we welcome people coming by themselves - this is an opportunity to tap into your creative flow and take a moment to explore something new. 

Your very own calligraphy starter kit and plenty of 1-2-1 guidance is included. Kit includes: nib, pen holder, ink pot and workbook including letter guides. Your ticket also includes a complimentary hot drink and baked treat from Slow Rise Bakery.

About Your Host

Sophie is the founder of Sophie Eloise Calligraphy. Having always enjoyed being creative, Sophie has honed her calligraphy skills over the years, working with both nib and brush. She creates bespoke, beautiful calligraphy for weddings, events or gifts from her studio in Leeds for a range of clients.
