Here! There! Horsforth!
As part of the Walk of Art 2026, we want to celebrate the people and places that make Horsforth home with a summer show of sorts.
All works displayed will be available for sale, with a portion of proceeds going to the Walk of Art. And that’s where you come in...
We’re welcoming submissions from all ages and abilities, across a range of mediums and disciplines, responding to the theme:
Here! There! Horsforth!
the themeHere! There! Horsforth!
We’re exploring the idea of home with a celebration of the people, places and things that make Horsforth special.
The RulesSubmissions are open to anyone and the submission process is free of charge.
Physical works spanning painting, drawing, original print, photography, textiles and other crafts will be considered.
Due to space constraints, we are unable to accept digital or multi-media works.
Works can be all shapes and sizes, but please bear in mind, we have a set amount of wall space and therefore would only be able to accommodate a small number of larger scale works.
If you would like to submit, you can select up to three pieces for consideration, however we would like to include as wide a range of artists and works as possible. Please note, you can have multiples of a single print for example.
All works must be available for sale and if selected, you will prepare your own work for display (we will hang and label accordingly).
Works on canvas may be submitted unframed, provided they are properly stretched and presented in an exhibition-ready condition suitable for display.
We will deduct a 25% processing fee for all works sold, and if selected, we would ask that 5% of the sale price is set aside for Walk of Art. Please take this into consideration when submitting a sale price.
DEADLINE FOR SUBMISSION: 14th JUNE
All works will be considered and successful entrants will be notified w/c 15th June.
Please note, you will be required to drop off any selected works before Sunday 28th June. The exhibition opening will run from Sunday 5th July - Sunday 6th September.
